The World's Most Expensive Hotels
When imagining your ideal vacation, luxury hotel suites probably play a part. We thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the most expensive hotels in the world – you know, if money was no object! Don’t worry, we also bring it back to reality and help you find some affordable options as well. Enjoy!
We love dreaming about luxurious vacations. Whether it’s a romantic couple’s getaway, a fun trip for the entire family or a solo adventure, a good hotel experience can sometimes make or break a vacation. We found some of the most luxurious – and expensive – hotels in the world that play a starring role in these dream vacations.
CNN.com has a list of the most expensive hotel rooms in the world, complete with amazing photos. One of our favorites is the $25,000-a-night suite in the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. It is the only suite in the world with its own indoor basketball court!
USNews has its own list of expensive suites. We’re dreaming of spending the night in the Royal Suite at the Burj Al Arab in Dubia. At $22,900 a night, it’s filled with beautiful décor, opulent furnishings and — believe it or not — is located under the sea!
TripAdvisor quizzed its members about the most luxurious hotels in the world and came up with its own list. The one that caught our eye was the Four Seasons Resort in Bora Bora. Each suite is housed in its own cabin that sits above the water on stilts. It looks like the perfect place to relax and enjoy the islands.

Dreaming is fun but there are luxury options out there at affordable prices too. Take a look at Travel+Leisure’s
America’s Best Affordable Hotels list for a start. The list doesn’t mention price but we found most average $300+ per night.
Budget Travel has a list of 26 hotels that charge less than $150 per night. A mix of B&Bs and hotels, these options all look beautiful and luxurious – all without breaking the bank!
