Fast Park, an offsite airport parking company, is celebrating its first Indiana facility near the Indianapolis International Airport on Wednesday, February 12.

As part of the company’s continued growth throughout the country, Fast Park strategically chose Indianapolis to open its 16th offsite airport parking facility.

“We have received a tremendous welcoming in Indianapolis since our soft opening in December,” said Manuel Chavez III, chief operating officer. “We’re thrilled to be in this market and have enjoyed bringing the Fast Park experience to Indy travelers as we help them start and end their trips. We look forward to building our presence here and welcoming our Indianapolis customers into the Fast Park family.”

To celebrate its grand opening, customers can use Fast Park & Relax for $4.50 per day, including airport fees, through February 28. Beginning March 1, the facility’s everyday low rate will be $8.18, excluding ten percent airport charges.

The Indianapolis facility has 1,955 covered parking spaces. However, upon completion of phase two construction, it will have a total of 3,611. Like many of Fast Park’s other facilities located in 12 markets across the country, it incorporates many green initiatives. The facility will use a water reclamation system for irrigation purposes, low VOC materials and Green Guard label furnishings. In addition, the facility uses a geo-thermal heating system, it has four charging stations for electric vehicle owners and has the infrastructure to install a large-scale solar panel system which would make it Fast Park’s first net zero facility. Currently, the Indianapolis location is going through the LEED certification process.
