About Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL) Airport Parking

As the world's busiest airport, you have not only choices - but important considerations - when selecting the best ATL airport parking options. Hartsfield-Jackson travelers need to weigh the costs, the benefits, and the services of all parking alternatives: off-site, on-site, and hotel parking. This guide details the options, additional considerations, and FAQs to find the best ATL parking to fit your needs.

Off-Site (Private) Parking lots

Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is home to a variety of privately owned parking lots, which tend to be more budget-friendly parking options. Nearly all of them have free shuttle services, as well as other amenities not available at the airport-owned parking lots. A more detailed list of the available off-site airport parking lots can be found at the beginning of this guide.

Editor's Note: Located less than a mile from the airport, Fast Park & Relax exclusively serves the international terminal; however, guests flying domestically with no checked bags can take advantage of this shortcut to the Plane Train, bypassing the longer security lines for domestic travel. Other Fast Park amenities include:

  • 24/7 Service and Support
  • Covered Parking
  • Free Shuttle Transportation
  • Car-Side Pickup and Dropoff
  • FastCharge EV Charging Stations
  • Complimentary Luggage Assistance
  • Handicap Parking and Assistance for Passengers with Disabilities
  • Emergency Car Care
  • Motorcycle Parking
  • Contactless Payment
  • And More...

On-Site (On-Airport) Parking

On-airport lots are open 24/7, operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are typically the most expensive parking options available. While they are typically the closest parking to the terminal, it generally comes with a trade-off of higher pricing. Just like off-site parking facilities, on-site options offer both daily and hourly parking rates.

Atlanta Airport Hotel Parking

Airport parking at hotels can seem like a budget-friendly option, however, many hotels offering parking for airport customers use third-party booking sites to manage those spaces, which charge additional fees. Unlike dedicated parking facilities, hotel parking is a secondary service so continuous shuttle transportation and other convenient amenities aren't offered. If using hotel parking, allow plenty of extra time.

ATL Parking Savings and Deals

If you regularly fly from Atlanta-Hartsfield International Airport, joining a rewards program will allow you to take advantage of extra savings and perks. ATL has a Gold Reserve Parking program including a separate parking area with assured parking for members. This program requires investment - a $200 upfront cost and a $408 annual minimum usage fee - so there is a risk of losing money if your travel activities change.

Off-site parking lots also cater to frequent travelers and offer loyalty programs that are free to join. Relax for Rewards - a popular loyalty program offered by Fast Park & Relax - allows travelers to accumulate points for each stay and convert those points into free parking.

Many of the off-site lots have covered parking spaces available. Fast Park & Relax offers covered parking on all spaces in its lot.

There are oversized vehicle parking spaces at the ATL Select lot. The rates for oversized vehicles are $6 per hour up to 4 hours with a $28 per day rate thereafter.

Contact private parking providers directly for information on oversized vehicle accommodations.

Are there coupons or discounts for ATL parking; How can I save money on airport parking?

Third-party booking sites often promote coupons and discounts for airport parking, but the deals don't always mean you're getting the best savings or service. If you travel often, joining a rewards program can help you save more money in the long run. Which program is right for you? It depends on whether you're looking to build up loyalty points to redeem for free parking; to secure a lower rate as a business traveler; or to pay for exclusive access to on-site parking accommodations.

Fast Park offers a competitive corporate travel program, offering automated discounts to travelers within specific companies, as well as a Rewards loyalty program, offering all parking guests the opportunity to earn free parking with each paid visit.

How can I save time at check-in for my ATL flight?

If you are traveling with carry-on luggage only, you can check in to domestic flights at the international terminal. The lines within the international terminal are almost always shorter and the check-in process is quick and convenient.

Fast Park exclusively services the international terminal and is conveniently located just 0.8 miles from the airport, off of Charles W. Grant Parkway.
