Fast Park Year In Review 2016

We’re reflecting on our proudest accomplishments of 2016 with our Year in Review. Join us as we highlight major expansions, guest engagement, charitable initiatives and all the things that make us proud of our employees and customers throughout the year.

 
Renovated and expanded our facility near Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and nearly doubled the amount of parking spaces available.
Unveiled a brand new website with a reservation system, easy price calculator and beautiful blog to inspire every type of traveler.
Everything is bigger in Texas. We opened our second Houston facility after servicing the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) for more than 11 years. Welcomed our first customer at our newest facility servicing William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in Houston on October 26 at 4:28 a.m.
Transported 1,912,970 travelers as they started and ended their trips with us.
Engaged with customers throughout the year on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. From company news and travel tips to contests and giveaways, we increased our Facebook fan base by 127% and enjoyed getting to know fans old and new.
Welcomed 67,593 new Relax for Rewards Members. Collectively, our members earned 4.6 million points in 2016 and redeemed 2.8 million points. That's more than 350,000 days of free parking!

Little details make a big difference

Charged a total of 5,829 vehicles; saving 67.859 MWH of energy.
Quenched the thirst of weary travelers with 2,166,982 complimentary bottles of water.
Hosted our third annual Customer Service Week to recognize our guests and employees who continue to provide exceptional customer service. Throughout the week we gave away snacks, goodies and free parking at each of our facilities and travel-themed prizes on Facebook.
Entertained our tiniest and most inquisitive customers by giving away more than 23,000 FunTime FastPaks full of snacks and activities at all of our facilities, as well as deserving charities.

Celebrating and supporting our communities

Joined forces with employees and guests to donate 14,226 pounds of food and $14,226 to local food banks.
Made travel a little easier for families in need by donating 62 weeks of parking to nonprofit organizations across our footprint.
Supplied $200 worth of water, juice and candy to the East Orlando Chamber’s blood drive event in June.
Supported kids in Atlanta by donating $1,000 to the Clayton County Scholarship Program.
Donated 1,000 packs of notebook paper, 200 boxes of crayons and 100 boxes of colored pencils to the Clayton County Back to School Bash. In addition,  a few of our Atlanta team members helped stuff 1,000 backpacks with school supplies for local Atlanta students.
Participated in Keep Austin Beautiful's annual Clean Sweep, picking up trash over the course of two hours.
Wrapped gifts to raise more than $100 for Foster Angels of Central Texas.
Donated 100 cases of water to the M.O. Campbell Education Center in Houston to assist those in need after major flooding in the area.
Helped package 58 boxes of presents and other goodies for soldiers from the Davis Monthan Air Force Base at the Operation Zulu event in Tucson.
Hosted a trick-or-treat booth at the second annual Haunted Halloween Bowl for local children’s charities in Tucson.
Received recognition for outstanding performance and dedication from the State Rehabilitation Council in Albuquerque.
Volunteered at the WAATS Family Day event in Tucson.
Hosted 15 special education students at our corporate headquarters in Cincinnati for a fun-filled Halloween party, complete with trick-or-treating, snacks, crafts and games.
 
 

What An Incredible Year!

2016 was a big year for us. From new facilities and a new website to getting to know our customers through on-site events and social media conversations, we have celebrated a lot with employees and customers. We have exciting plans for 2017 and can't wait to share the news with all of you!
