Fast Park, an offsite airport parking company with 16 facilities in 14 markets is breaking ground today on its 17th facility located near the Houston Hobby Airport (HOU). While this is the company’s first location near HOU, it has been servicing the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) since 2005.

We’re excited to bring another Fast Park facility to Houston,” said Melanie Chavez, executive vice president of construction and branding at Fast Park. “We’ve serviced the IAH airport for eleven years and over that time we’ve refined and perfected our offerings to fit the needs of our IAH guests. We look forward to bringing the Fast Park brand which focuses on providing a top notch customer experience and high-touch amenities to HOU travelers this summer.”

The HOU facility will be located at 8202 Hansen Road and will span approximately 17 acres. Like most facilities within the Fast Park portfolio, it will feature a completely covered lot, complimentary electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and will use a geo-thermal heating system. Low VOC building materials and Green Guard label furnishings will also be used at this location.

All Fast Park guests will enjoy the company’s trademark service:
• Covered parking
• FastCharge, complimentary ChargePoint EV stations
• No walking, no waiting, no worries® car to airport terminal shuttle service
• Complimentary luggage assistance, newspaper upon entry (available Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. while supplies last) and bottled water upon exit
• Emergency car services including battery and tire inflation assistance

Construction of the new facility is being managed by Warwick Construction, Inc. and is expected to open in the summer of 2016.
