On Tuesday, March 1, Fast Park is celebrating its first Atlanta facility with a grand opening event. The Fast Park & Relax facility, located at 251 Charles W. Grant Parkway (exit 239 off I-75), services the international terminal at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and provides one of the most convenient locations for travelers.

“We have received a tremendous welcoming in Atlanta since our soft opening in December,” said Peter Guggenheim, director of marketing at Fast Park & Relax. “We’re thrilled to be in this market and offer an easy and time-saving alternative to the domestic terminal. Many savvy travelers already understand the time-saving benefit of traveling through the international terminal even when flying domestic, if they are not checking bags. Our location on the Charles W. Grant Parkway also helps travelers avoid the headache and congestion of Camp Creek Parkway. We look forward to providing this convenience to travelers as we build our airport parking presence here and introduce more travelers to the Fast Park difference.”

Fast Park has offered comfortable and consistent service to travelers across the country for over three decades, while continuing to push innovative solutions in order to improve the airport experience. Similar to Fast Park’s 15 other locations, this facility features 100 percent covered parking and the company’s signature service which includes complimentary newspaper upon entrance, bottle water upon exit, car-to-terminal service and free luggage assistance. The ATL facility includes many eco-friendly initiatives, including complimentary electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, a geo-thermal heating system and Green Guard furnishings. In addition, the facility has the infrastructure to install a large-scale solar panel system.

While this is Fast Park’s first offsite airport parking facility in Atlanta, its parent company, Parking Company of America (PCA), is no stranger to the city. PCA has had a large presence in Atlanta since 1967. Its corporate regional office is currently located on Luckie Street and it owns and operates 45 parking lots throughout the city. In addition, for nearly 28 years from 1980 to 2009, PCA managed ATL’s on-site airport parking business.

“Atlanta has always been near to our hearts,” said Manuel Chavez III, chief operating officer. “We have deep roots and a great presence here through our PCA facilities. We’re so pleased to now be able to expand in this market and introduce Atlanta business and leisure travelers to the Fast Park brand and experience. We’re proud to serve Atlanta.”

The facility was built by DooleyMack Constructors of GA, Inc.
